Activity: Coronation of Queen Connie Kaleta at the beginning of our 10th year together and Building of the DIVA 2014 Event Calendar.
This special celebration to be held at Veritas Restaurant in Sugar Land. This much-anticipated celebration had to be cancelled and rescheduled because of severe icy road conditions.
February 25th

Activity: Coronation of Queen Connie Kaleta on the occasion of the Red Haute Divas' 10th birthday and Building of the 2014 DIVA Event Calendar. This anniversary party is to be held at the Veritas Restaurant in Sugar Land.
21 divas came together to participate in this joyous celebration. Queen Connie's crowning was a simple but beautiful ceremony. With champagne, we raised a toast to her - the 2nd queen of the divas. And we did this on the 10th birthday of our club. After leading the Red Haute Divas chapter since its start-up, Arlene became Queen Emerita of the group as of this date. A box of love letters and a generous spa gift certificate were presented to her in appreciation. The 2014 calendar of events was built, with members signing up to sponsor an outing during the year. March 25th

Activity: Red Haute Diva Silent Auction for CCP & Bingo Event at Veritas Restaurant in Sugar Land
Well, we had full house for our fundraiser this year, with some women remaining on the waiting list. 50 ladies came out this day to play and have fun for a cause. 17 divas and 33 guests gathered in the largest private room at the Veritas Restaurant in Sugar Land, where we played bingo, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and generously bid on 135 baskets, collections, and items to make money for the Cinderella/Cinderfella Project. When the day played out, $3100 were presented to Diva Eva Fackeldey, CCP's founder and CEO. The CCP corporation has listed the Red Haute Divas as one of their 'Crystal Slipper' donators. How great is that! We salute Co-ordinator Arlene Rivenes and her crew (Lisa Pepin, Sandy Livingston, Diane Schuler, Pay Hayden, Connie Kaleta, Eva Quearry, Brenda Stevenson, and Sue Adam) for the hours of work that made this event such a success. April 23rd - WEDNESDAY

Activity: Tour of Rosenberg's Railroad Museum and Lunch at Sandy McGee's in Richmond
14 divas gathered in Richmond to enjoy Sandy McGee's delicious food and the camaraderie of fellow divas. A few 'thinking' games were played and prizes were won. The group then traveled to Rosenberg, where touring the Railroad Museum there brought back many-a-nostalgic-feeling for days gone by. Tour guide provided facts about the local trains running through Rosenberg today as well. As always, Divas Diane and Virginia prepared for us a happy outing and the beautiful weather just added to it. In attendance were Divas Julie Beu, Linda Dick, Sharon Gorman, Pat Hayden, Connie Kaleta, Virginia Lemmon, Dolores Patterson, Lisa Pepin, Eva Quearry, Arlene Rivenes, Evelyn Rosenberg, Diane Schuler, Barb Trotter & Ester Wleczyk.

June 24th

Activity: Art Project
A delightful event was held on this day, coached by art teacher Diva Becky and her friend & fellow art teacher Jan. Those attending each found themselves creating a landscape using water colors on canvas. They were surprised and proud of their 'masterpieces' in the end. Connie offered her beautiful garage for this wonderful art adventure. And the lunch served by Becky was yummy. 11 divas participated. They included Divas Sue Adam, Linda Dick, Becky Gay, Connie Kaleta, Virginia Lemmon, Sandy Livingston, Janet Moss, Dolores Patterson, Evelyn Rosenbaum, Diane Schuler, and Brenda Stevenson. Sue's daughter Sheila and Janet's friend Carol from the UK were guests.
July 22nd

Activity: Presenting Alice Weiser, Graphologist
Well, the graphologist never did present at this July gathering. Instead the three hosts threw a delightful surprise birthday party for Queen Emerita Arlene, as she turned 80. And these three Divas went all out as they did so. There was a huge banner, colorful flares, take-home cups and pins (all with Arlene's picture on). There was a beautifully-decorated cake (yes! with her picture on). Photos were taken. The 'Story of Your Life' was researched and read to Arlene by Diva Brenda. An beautiful poem was created and read to her by Queen Connie. Even a secret guest was invited - Arlene's husband Dick. A basket of greetings cards and gifts were presented to Arlene as she left for home. A delicious lunch was served at the Texas Land & Cattle Restaurant. August 26th

Activity: Movie at the Palladium Theater Complex
14 divas traveled to this spectacular movie theater to view the movie entitled '100 Foot Journey'. And what a sweet movie it was! We gathered there ahead of time to 'be together', decide on our lunch selections, and enjoy the special treats prepared for us by Diva hostesses Evelyn and Sharon. Lunch was served as the movie began. Those attending included Shirley Beu, Linda Dick, Becky Gay, Sharon Gorman, Connie Kaleta, Virginia Lemmon, Sandy Livingston, Sheila Lubojasky, Dolores Patterson, Lisa Pepin, Arlene Rivenes, Evelyn Rosenbaum, Diane Schuler and Norma Smith.

Activity Lunching in a Tearoom. Playing Games
15 divas attended this gathering, where they enjoyed a tasty luncheon at the interesting venue chosen by hostesses Linda and Norma. They were able to also shop from items displayed in the tea house. Paper games were played, such as matching pairs (Lewis/Clark etc.).Prizes of flavored teas and embellished hand towels were prizes. Hostess gifts of red&silver 'Red Hatter Lady' pens were given to the ladies attending. Friendship, good food and fun characterized this diva day together. Activity: Fall/Pumpkin Fun at Queen Connie's home.
20 divas came out to play at this fun fall event on a lovely autumn day. A salad was brought by each diva attending, which collectively turned out to be a very colorful and nutritious lunch. Divas were also asked to bring a decorated pumpkin and these were voted on, as to creativity involved. Prizes were awarded in three categories: the silliest pumpkin, the most beautiful autumn pumpkin, and the most clever Halloween pumpkin. Games were also played, which provided still more fun and more winners. Hostesses Julie and Barbara provided this fun/fun gathering in Queen Connie's 'upgraded' garage area. Activity: Fun & Games with Lunch at Susie's Home
19 divas gathered at Susie's beautiful Missouri City home to celebrate autumn and our long-time friendships. We visited while enjoying champagne, soft drinks and snacks. Then we formed teams and set upon solving mind games, with prizes being given to the 'smartest' teams amongst us. Hostesses Barbara W and Susie served a delicious Bar-B-Q lunch, which everyone enjoyed. Each diva received a door prize when leaving. Activity: Christmas Party & Bunko at Connie's Home
20 divas were in town this December to enjoy the festive gathering at Queen Connie's beautiful Missouri City home. Bunko was played and prizes were won. Camaraderie was delightful amongst the group; many-a-diva here having belonged to this fellowship for a decade now. A delicious lunch was enjoyed at Connie's season-decorated table.
